Statutory objective
To bring about positive social and cultural change through literature and art, and to promote cultural activities for children and adults, fostering connection, creativity, imagination, and education within and among diverse communities.
Policy plan
Board
Stichting Dorna is governed by a four-person board. Roles: chair, treasurer/secretary, and two members. Names and short bios are listed on the About page.
Board compensation
Board members receive no compensation for their role on the board. Reasonable expenses (travel, materials) are reimbursed against receipt.
Activities undertaken
Publishing (Narvan Magazine), preparation of the Children's Book Programme, weekly Mini Exhibitions, partner network development, and the planned Children's Magazine.
Financial accountability
Annual reports and financial statements will be published after the close of our first reporting year.
ANBI status
Application submitted to the Belastingdienst. Once granted, donations to Stichting Dorna will be tax-deductible in the Netherlands. We will update this page on the day of the official decision.
